Four Breaths Seven Glories

From the State- Wide Awakening Fires Meeting At The Base, Des Moines, February 2012. A sequential revelation of the glory of God.

The structure God is building

Ex. 25:8 “And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.”

Abraham Joseph and David got the promise early on and it was fulfilled late in their lives

  • We to are carrying prophetic promises
  • We are seeing some of them come to pass
  • Others we are waiting for the manifestation

Ex. 25:40 “And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.”

  • As we build the Is 2:2-3 mountain we will build the place of knowing the pattern.
  • Our frustration comes because we are trying to restore something that resembles the Glory.
  • We become consumed to find the Glory, we miss the greater intentions of God.
  • We fail to see and to anticipate the greater glory that God has in mind.

Hag. 2:9 “the glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former”

The former covenant was ushered in with glory, but was doomed to pass away; The latter covenant was not only ushered in with great glory, it was destined to remain or subsist in glory. The new covenant was not destined to burst forth glorious and fade It was destined to burst forth and have a continuation of glory

2 Cor. 3:18 “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Moses’ Tabernacle , David’s Tabernacle, Solomon Temple, Zerubbabel Temple, Herod the Great Temple

All of these had a fading glory…types of shadows of Glory but not sustained.

Amos 9:11 “In that day will I raise up the Tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.”

How then shall we bring back the ark of God into our midst?

All kinds of movements and schemes have been devised.

Men search out the records of Church history, and try to duplicate a method that seemed to work . We know the intentions of God but we need to seek Him for the WAY the intention will be manifested.

We can not invent a “new Cart” to carry the ark of His presence

We must carry this upon the strength of our own backs and faith

A new cart does not require holy priest to move it — but an ark resting on shoulders (Government) does.

We are not to guide or steady the presence but we are to CARRY IT!

It is not about the strength of oxen carrying the presence but the weakness of humanity

David soon realized that a breach could occur.

1 Chron. 15:13 “The LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.”

When we make assumption of Gods intentions we step out of order

The Davidical tabernacle would experience 5 distinct breaches over time

1. Rebellion – Jeroboam’s greed 2 Chron. 10 Jehosphat restored it 2 Chron 17

2. Idols — Ahaziah entertained them Jezebel Spirit Joash restored 2 Chron 23

3. Idols to Baal by Ahaz 2 Chron 28 Cleansing of the temple in 2 Chron 29

4. Idols by Mannaseh 2 Chron 33 Josiah restored 2 chron 34

5. Idols by Zedekiah 70 years of Babylonian captivity 2 Chron 36 Cyrus king of Persia restored 2 Chron 36 based on prophetic words of Nehemiah and Ezra

We must recognize when something from a past order has served it purpose and its purpose is fulfilled. Recopying the pattern does not make it have purpose again!

Moses’ tabernacle was never intended to be lasting tabernacle but a temporal

It was to reveal a fading glory so men would cherish the glory

The rebuilding of the Tabernacle is:

1. The rebuilding of a royal priesthood

2. The ruling of kings

3. The release of Melchisedec order

4. Message of repentance that ushers in the kingdom ( not worship ushering in the presence)

5. It is the coming forth and enlargement of a singular corporate man.

He reminded us that it was not something that would suddenly burst forth upon the earth in a blaze of glory, but something that would grow, and grow, and grow…

Mark 4:28 “first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.”

There is another temple little known that God showed he desired to build…Ezekiel’s temple.

Ezek. 43:10-11 “Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof.”

The vision of Ezekiel was the revealing of a pattern God had intention for.

This pattern was never built. Nor did God ever promise it would be, unless there was genuine national repentance and a turning toward God by the sinful nation. God’s promise was conditional: Ezekiel’s writings show how the glory of God surely, but reluctantly, withdrew from His habitation, and returned to His place in the heavens.

And yet in and through it all gave us a promise that He would return again in the fullness of time, take up His habitation in a new Temple not made with the hands of men, and send forth a River of Life that would bring healing to the nations.

But first Ezekiel must see the glory of God, and literally “eat the book” – the Word must become a vital part of His very being, before he could bring forth a clear and meaningful Word to the people of God. He must move in total union.

Ezek. 3:17 “I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.”

Apostasy seems almost to have been the norm in the history of God’s people.

But, in every hour of abomination God begins to prepare a remnant through whom He will fulfill His purposes, and bring a new thing into being.

Ezekiel has a visitation from God He sees into the revelatory realm

He also has to face the apostasy all around him of idolatry and discontentment

  • He is told he is a watchman
  • He is told to eat the book or scroll
  • He sees the four faces of God
  • He sees a wheel upon the earth…the wheel within the wheel

Ezek. 1:15 “Behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures,

with his four faces.”

He is seeing the motion of the kingdom on the earth connected to the kingdom of heaven. There are 4 anointings in Iowa — Daniel, Joseph, Enoch and Isaiah

The structure being built will have the four faces of God as a singular corporate man. This will release four distinct breaths of God

These four faces and four breaths will bring four distinct glories into the church or ecclesia.

This will bring 4 glories of God and will parallel the temple Ezekiel saw to be built

1. The Glory With The Captivity

Ezek. 3:12-13, 15 “Then the Spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place. I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels… then I came to them of the captivity.”

The “Spirit” – RUWACH — THE BREATH OF GOD Carried him to the place the glory was at.

“Blessed be the Glory” — the kbad – the honor , splendor, reverence of the Lord

It was a glory for those held captive by God

Judah was held captive under Babylon — praise was captive under a religious system

There Ezekiel sat down astonished with the other captives.

Nothing to say. He was moving in the Spirit. Sometimes nothing is the Spirit

Unless God would speak, nothing he would say would be effective,

For seven days he sat dumb.

Then God spoke and gave him a commission and a mandate to be “a watchman unto the house of Israel.”

Ezek. 3:23 “Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar.”

The Kabad “stood” – to stand or remain as for an appointed time

The Glory was already there. He had to allow the breath to bring him to it.

It is a glory that release the original intention of God

It is not a new glory but a glory that is already in place

It is not coming to us but we are repositioning to it

Part of the structure will be those who are captive by the Lord.

2. The Glory At The Inner Gate Of The Temple

Ezek. 8:3-4 “And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the Spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. And,behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there.”

Ruwach – now instead of carrying him it lifts him to the place of second heaven

Image of jealousy = the idol of zeal, envy and wrong passions

This is a glory the Kabad was present even in the places of our structures where we have erected abominations …the seat of the image of jealousy.

It is a glory above the glory of man upon the earth

He is taken from Babylon to Jerusalem. He is taken from worldly surroundings and taken to the north gate. The north gate was the one of 4 looking inward to the inner court of Solomon’s temple. This breath is a repositioning breath. It is a breath for entrance in.

The Glory was at the entrance point of the structure

So will it be for what God is building, entrance points of the spiritual structure that have the kabad sitting upon them…. kingdom centers…more than training but points of glory.

Then the Lord took Ezekiel on a tour of the Temple area, and showed him all the abominations that were being perpetrated by an apostate priesthood.

There were creeping things in the house of God:

  • abominable beasts…
  • Idols portrayed upon the wall…
  • the leader of the elders offering incense to false gods…
  • women at one of the gates weeping over a heathen god (Tammuz) who was believed to have died; they were in mourning because of this…
  • men worshipping the sun in the location of the brazen sea (between the porch and the altar),where God had intended a washing and a cleansing of His people.

3. The Glory Moves To The Door Of  The House

Ezek. 9:3 “And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house.”

This is a glory of entrance. A glory that requires holiness and sanctification

It is being marked by God and set apart

Ezek. 9:4 “mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.”

God always preserves for Himself a faithful remnant, no matter how great are the abominations. And God will spare them in the day of His wrath.

God said,

“The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.” (Ezek. 9:9)

The Glory is transient. It is in motion. It is a glory that is like heaven coming to earth as all of heaven is in motion so this glory is as well.

The structure will have entrance points. Unlike today we seem to think the veil being lifted exposes the Glory in nakedness. It is there for our entertainment. But points of entrance will protect the glory and what is most precious God will put inside His house.

4. The Glory Fills The Court to the point of touching the Cherubims

Ezek. 10:4 “Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’s glory.”

This is the most precious that God is putting into the house he is building now

Just as all the things to this moment have been outside — the structure now the structure will contain a greater glory of filling.

The “Court” will be filled – the Glory of Government and Justice – Courts of Heaven upon the Earth

Illumination of all hidden things.

A sound of His glory reverberated throughout the whole Temple, even to the outer court.

And when this happens His Word will go forth “even to the outer court.”

When His Glory comes to His people it will mean cleansing and purifying for the people of God who submit to His dealings… but it will not change the rebellious and obstinate of heart.

Ezekiel 10:18 (KJV 1900) — 18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.

Then God will bring two final glories upon the house

#5 A national purging glory

#6 A glory that He is seated in His place.

5. The Glory Moves To The Eastern Gate

Ezek. 10:18-19 “Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims… the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.”

A national purging glory

As Ezekiel prophesied to them concerning the impending judgments of God one of the princes of the people fell down dead.

When the Glory of God returns to His people we are going to witness some very severe judgments.

In the early Church we are told “no man durst join himself” to this company of believers, because of the fear of God in their midst.

The people will know all about it, and will stay away, unless they are prepared to come face-to-face with God in His holy Temple.

It was not Peter that slew Ananias and Sapphira. It was the glory of God that was in their midst and cleansing and judging His Temple.

When the prince of the people fell down dead, Ezekiel fell on his face before God and cried aloud for God to have mercy.

God brings his glory not for our sakes but for his names sake

This is a Glory resting in and upon His house that causes the nation to take notice

6. The Glory Moves To The Mountain On The East

Ezekiel 11:1 (KJV 1900) — 1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD’s house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

The Spirit — the breath — ruwach of God lifts him again

The third breath

Ezek. 11:23 “And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city”

This Glory rest upon the mountain of the Lord, It rest upon what he has built:

7. The Glory Fills the House he has built and He is now in the House!

Ezekiel 43:5-7 (KJV 1900) — 5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house. 6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me. 7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcasses of their kings in their high places.

The fourth breath

The corporate man is formed and He is now dwelling in the house.

Ezek. 47:1 “And, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward…down from under the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.”
